A church construction project in
Khmelnick, Ukraine
Population 28,000
This project started in the spring of 2003 with $10,000 in financial assistance.

A plot of land was purchased, ownership established, and an architect hired to draw up the plans.
Summer 2003
The church members were busy clearing the land.

100 truckloads of dirt were removed and the project was underway!

Once the foundation was leveled and cement footings were laid,
young and old helped chink the basement walls.

Fall 2004
Phase I was completed.

Summer 2005
With another gift of $10,000, phase II began.
A special crew was hired to lay cement slabs for the main floor.

Fall 2005

2006
With funds raised by the church and outside contributions, roofing materials were purchased. These lay in wait as the church saved and prayed for additional funds for purchasing bricks for the walls.
Summer 2007
With the offer of an interest free loan, the church began raising the walls . . .
and covering with a roof.

Thank you for your prayers concerning the
Khmelnick church and their building project.
Estimated cost for full completion - $125,000
